Google and a coalition of authors and publishers are hoping a second draft of a legal settlement will clear the way through a thicket of copyright laws to let Google to build the library of the future. The second version, filed close to midnight Friday night in federal court, needs to placate the Justice Department and a federal judge, who nixed the first draft over copyright and monopoly concerns.

Here we are only nine months into the ubiquitously proclaimed "post-racial presidency," and all that promised harmony among the races has disappeared faster than a Chicago minute. All it took for addled minds to conjure shadows of racism behind every whitey tree in the whole American forest were voices raised in dissent over the President's far-left policies.

Here's why it's so culturally suited for hope and change -- and such a perfect example of why you don't want the government in your medicine chest:

1) Gardasil has owed most of its success to the fact that government ...

Will liberals say that they must show “tolerance” and accept this ...

Most big, long-term trends in computers and technology are well understood. Everyone knows, thanks to Moore and his Law, that gadgets get smaller, cheaper and faster.

But the least appreciated trend is the inexorable transition from mechanical to solid state. Don't look now, but we're about to reach the end of the trend -- soon just about all computer and consumer electronics devices will have no moving parts.

The Islamic nations feel they have an enemy in there backyard and the strongest

richest nation supports there enemy(that would be the U.S.)

A new pastor was visiting in the homes of his parishioners. At one house it seemed obvious that someone was at home, but no answer came to his repeated knocks at the door.

[b][i]Therefore, he took out a business card and wrote 'Revelation 3:20' on the back of it and stuck it in the door.
