Jordanian newspaper: Iosion Iraqis, U.S. officials meet in Amman

Neighbors, Oman, Jordan, (UPI) - A Jordanian newspaper on Wednesday that a secret meeting held in Amman recently between U.S. officials and members of the Iraqi Baath Party. The newspaper quoted "The truth is international," the weekly Iraqi sources in Amman and described Bmoabedp saying that the meeting was held last week included one of the aides, Izzat league and officials of the U.S. embassies in Amman and Baghdad, in addition to representatives of U.S. intelligence. The source added to the newspaper that the meeting was one of several meetings held in Baghdad and Tikrit to discuss the arrangements after the U.S. withdrawal from Iraqi cities and a ground to help the Iraqi government Istvtab opponents. The source of the Baath Party told the newspaper that U.S. officials are ready to hand over the Baathists their hands stained with the blood of the Iraqis in exchange for amending the Constitution so as to facilitate the involvement of opposition forces in the political process, in addition to requiring the cancellation of the law of the Baathists and accountability of justice and making payments of the separated Baathists from their jobs and stop the proceedings against them.
