Pentagon confirms that the security situation in Iraq is a stable well -

The U.S. Defense Department, the Pentagon said the security situation in Iraq a stable and well the Iraqi security forces are capable of taking over responsibility for security.

The ministry's spokesman Geoff Morrell said in a statement published on Thursday that U.S. forces remaining in the city will be composed of advisers, trainers and support staff within the existing Iraqi military units, reiterated his country's commitment to the implementation of the security agreement signed between Baghdad and Washington.
